The Cat House is a Cat Lounge and cat themed Arts Centre & Art Gallery in Norwich, offering daily lounging sessions, workshops and events all to do with cats - a cat lovers paradise, with 20 plus (mostly rescue) cats to cuddle, of 14 different breeds. We are similar to a cat café, but we don't serve savoury food, just quality drinks and sweet treats. We look forward to meeting you!
Cats As Therapy
Cats are superb at relaxing, at being in the present moment, and helping their humans unwind and destress at the end of a long day. If you are lucky enough to have your own cat at home that is wonderful, but if not why not come along to The Cat House and get some rebalancing through the power of the purr.
All our cats are chosen for their calm, friendly temperaments and ability to live as a peaceful part of our feline family group.
Some of our workshops and classes are focused on mindfulness, relaxation, meditation, yoga or tai chi. These all aim to bring inner peace and to connect you with your inner feline.
We are keen to take group bookings from charities and community groups for gentle cat therapy sessions. This includes care homes, hospices, stress management groups, mental health groups and more... please get in touch - we look forward to hearing from you!
